Almond Float

  1. Soften gelatin in 1/4 cup of the water.
  2. In a saucepan, bring remaining 1 cup water to a boil.
  3. Add softened gelatin and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
  4. Stir in sugar, milk, and almond extract.
  5. Pour into an 8-inch square pan and chill until firm.
  6. Cut almond gelatin into square or diamond shapes.
  7. To serve, place lychee with liquid in a serving bowl; add fresh fruits and almond gelatin.
  8. Makes 8 servings.
