Breakfast Sausage Casserole Recipe
- 1 pkt fresh breakfast sausage - (12 ounce) cooked, liquid removed, and crumbled
- 4 c. cubed day-old bread
- 2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese - (8 ounce)
- 2 can Nestle Carnation Evaporated Lowfat milk (12 ounce ea)
- 10 lrg Large eggs lightly beaten
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp onion pwdr Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
- Grease 13- by 9-inch baking dish.
- Place bread in prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Combine evaporated lowfat milk, Large eggs, dry mustard, onion pwdr and pepper in medium bowl.
- Pour proportionately over bread and cheese.
- Sprinkle with sausage.
- Cover; chill overnight.
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Bake for 55 to 60 min or possibly till cheese is golden.
- Cover with foil if top browns too quickly.
- This recipe yields 8 to 10 servings.
