Apple Nut Cookies Recipe
- 1/3 c. Margarine
- 1/2 c. Brown sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 1 c. Unbleached white flour
- 1/2 c. Whole-wheat flour
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Grated nutmeg
- 3 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. Raisins
- 1/2 c. Minced walnuts
- 2 1/2 c. Peeled, diced cooking Apples
- Preheat oven to 400 F. Lightly grease a cookie sheet with margarine.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream margarine and brown sugar.
- Add in egg and beat till batter is smooth.
- Combine white flour, whole-wheat flour, baking soda, baking pwdr, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Mix into batter alternately with lowfat milk.
- Stir in raisins and nuts.
- Mix in apples.
- Drop batter by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 min or possibly till golden.
