Veal Chops Supreme

  1. Whisk together the salt, pepper, and flour in a bowl.
  2. Coat the veal chops lightly in the seasoned flour.
  3. Heat the oil in a large skillet.
  4. Add the chops and cook until brown.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  6. Remove the chops and place in a shallow baking dish.
  7. Add 1 cup hot water to the skillet and stir in 1/2 cup of sour cream until well blended.
  8. Pour enough over the chops to half cover them.
  9. Bake, covered, for 1 hour.
  10. Remove the chops from the oven.
  11. Stir the remaining sour cream mixture in the skillet and pour over the chops.
  12. Cut each chop in half and serve.
