Esau's Pottage - Vegetarian

  1. Sautee onions in olive oil-in soup pot.
  2. Add water, lentils, rice and slat.
  3. Cook 30 minutes or so: uncover and cook longer to thicken.
  4. Dont substitute other oil for the olive oil.
  5. It gives the soup a wonderful flavor.
