Lisa's French Toast

  1. Mix all ingredients except bread until smooth.
  2. Slice bread into 1" thick slices.
  3. Soak in batter until aturated.
  4. (I often pour the batter into a jelly roll pan and lay the bread slices on top, let them sit a minute and flip them over until all liquid is absorbed.
  5. ).
  6. Fry over medium heat in 1/4" oil until done.
