Haddock In Mushroom Sauce Recipe

  1. Arrange haddock on a rack in a skillet.
  2. Add in water; cover and simmer 15 min.
  3. Drain, reserving stock.
  4. Cold.
  5. Flake into bite size pcs and remove any bones.
  6. Heat 4 Tbsp.
  7. butter and stir into flour.
  8. Add in soup and stir till thickened.
  9. Saute/fry fresh mushrooms till tender in 2 Tbsp.
  10. butter.
  11. Add in mushrooms, salt and pepper to soup mix.
  12. Blend in cheese and stock or possibly sherry.
  13. Arrange fish and sauce in alternate layers in a 1 1/2 qt casserole.
  14. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
  15. Serves 4.
