Make-Ahead Broccoli, Cheese & Rice

  1. Bring broccoli and broth to boil in medium saucepan.
  2. Stir in rice; cover.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Let stand 5 min.
  5. Stir in Cheez Whiz.
  6. Let stand, covered, 5 min.
  7. ; stir until Cheez Whiz is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
  8. Spoon into microwaveable serving bowl.
  9. Refrigerate up to 24 hours.
  10. Meanwhile, melt butter in small skillet on medium heat.
  11. Add cracker crumbs; cook 2 to 3 min.
  12. or until golden brown, stirring frequently.
  13. Cool completely.
  14. Stir in Parmesan.
  15. Spoon into airtight container.
  16. Store at room temperature up to 24 hours.
  17. Cover broccoli mixture with waxed paper just before serving.
  18. Microwave on HIGH 5 to 6 min.
  19. or until heated through; stir.
  20. Sprinkle with crumb mixture.
  21. Microwave, uncovered, 2 to 3 min.
  22. or until heated through.
