Dirt Dessert

  1. Place cookies in a large zip-lock freezer bag and use a can to crush them into crumbs to look like dirt.
  2. Be careful not to punch a hole in the bag.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, margarine, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, combine instant pudding and milk.
  5. Blend well.
  6. Then, fold this into the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Next, fold in the cool whip. In a 9 x13 inch pan, sprinkle a thin layer of cookie crumbs. Top with a layer of the pudding mixture.
  8. Sprinkle another thin layer of crumbs, then the rest of the pudding.
  9. The final layer of crumbs should cover the dessert well, resembling dirt.
  10. As a finishing touch, add some "gummy" worms to the top, pushing the ends into the surface.
  11. "Plant" small flowers near one corner.
