Green Bean And Fish Casserole Recipe
- 1 med. onion, minced (about 1/2 c.)
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. dry White wine or possibly chicken broth
- 2 pkg. (9 ounce. ea.) frzn French-style green beans, thawed and liquid removed
- 1 can (10 3/4 ounce.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (4 ounce.) mushroom stems and pcs, liquid removed
- 1 can (2.8 ounce.) French fried onions
- 1 pkg. (12 ounce.) crunchy fish fillets
- Heat oven to 400 degrees.
- Grease rectangular baking dish, 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch, or possibly 3 qt casserole.
- Cook onion in butter in 3 qt saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently, till tender.
- Stir in wine, beans, soup and mushrooms; heat through.
- Pour into baking dish.
- Top with French fried onions and fillets.
- Bake uncovered 25 to 30 min or possibly till mix is bubbly and fillets are warm.
