Cheesy meatballs
- 2 lb mince meat
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cup romano cheese
- 4 clove garlics - minced
- 2 tsp dried basil
- 2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/3 cup bread crumbs
- 4 oz mozarella - cut into cubes and more for topping
- 3 cup pasta sauce
- preheat the oven to 400f/205c
- in large bowl, add ground meat, egg, oil, cheese, bread crumps, salt, pepper, dried basil and parsley.
- Mix to combine.
- spray a large baking dish with non stick spray.
- add 2 cups of pasta sauce.
- roll meat into golf ball size meatballs.
- press the mozarella cubes in, seal the meat around the cheese and set into the sauce.
- repeat until finish.
- pour the last cup of pasta sauce and sprinkle additional mozarella cheese on top.
- bake for 30-35 minutes.
- can be served with pasta or bread.
