Hamburger Soup

  1. Brown hamburger.
  2. Add onions; cook a few minutes more.
  3. Add flour.
  4. Dump into big soup kettle.
  5. Add everything else, except macaroni.
  6. Simmer for 1/2 hour.
  7. Cook macaroni separately; add last.
  8. A little red wine added just before serving is very good. Makes 3 gallons or 48 (1-cup) servings.
