Mount Diablo Dip Recipe
- 2 cans refried beans
- 2 avocados (may use frzn tins (3)
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- Dash warm sauce
- Dash salt
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1/2 c. taco seasoning
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 c. finely minced tomatoes
- 1 can ripe olives, sliced
- 1/4 c. finely minced green onions
- 1 pkg. tostados
- Layer ingredients on a dinner size plate, decreasing the size of each succeeding layer.
- Layer refried beans on bottom; next layer avocados mixer with lemon juice and warm sauce and salt; next layer lowfat sour cream and taco seasoning; next layer Cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack and pat this down.
- next, tomatoes, then olives, then green onions.
- Surround with tostados.
- Makes a colorful dish.
