Rustic and Fragrant Wholewheat Black Sesame Seed Scones

  1. Put all of theingredients in a bowl and mix well with a whisk.
  2. Add the oil and mix gently.
  3. Once combined, add the water and mix thoroughly with a rubber spatula until the dough comes together.
  4. Mix in the black sesame seeds, then place the dough on a work surface.
  5. Knead the dough.
  6. Cut it into12 pieces, bake for 25 minutes in an oven preheated to 190C, and they're done.
  7. If making these for 1, use half the listed quantities.
  8. Eaten right out of the oven they are crunchy, but tend to get softer after they cool.
