cheeseburgers
- 500 grams minced beef
- 150 grams meduim brown onion
- 1 tsp dried mixtured herbs
- 2 tbsp barbicue sauce
- 50 grams packaged breadcrumbs
- 1 egg beaten
- 60 ml olive oil
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 150 grams 2 mediem tomatoes
- 450 grams can sliced beetroot, drained
- 4 slice cheddar cheese
- 60 ml tomato sauce
- Combine beef, onion, herbs, barbicue sauce, breadcrumbs and egg in large bowl.
- Shape mixture into four patties.
- Heat oil in large frying pan and add patties; cook over medium heat about 15 minutes.
- Remove patties from pan; drain on absorbent paper.
- preheat grill.
- Toast buns, cut side up, under grill.
- Layer bottom half of bun with lettuce, tomato, beetroot, patties, cheese and tomato sauce.
- Top with remaining bun.
