Spicy Turkey Chili
- 1 pound Lean Ground Turkey
- 1 envelope Chili Seasoning Mix, (1 Oz - Enough For Two Pounds Of Meat)
- 2 cans Italian Style Diced Tomatoes (14.5 Oz)
- 1 can Kidney Beans, Drained (15.5 Oz)
- 1 can Tomato Sauce (8 Oz)
- 1 can Diced Green Chiles (4 Oz)
- 1 cup Water, Optional, For Desired Consistency
- Brown turkey in a large pot over medium high heat.
- Drain grease.
- Add remaining ingredients to turkey.
- Bring it to a boil then turn down heat and allow to simmer 1 to 2 hours, and serve with crackers or cornbread.
- There is some flexibility in ingredients.
- I prefer kidney beans, but my husband prefers black beans in his chili.
- Its delicious with either.
- Also, I like a thicker, heartier chili, so I rarely add a whole cup of water.
- You can add the amount of water for your desired consistency.
