Candied Sweet Potatoes
- 4 yams (par-boiled and peel)
- 13 cup butter
- 12 cup packed brown sugar
- 13 cup white Karo
- Cut the yams into quarters.
- Place margarine, brown sugar and syrup in skillet and melt, stirring to combine ingredients and dissolve brown sugar.
- Place yams in mixture and turn temperature of skillet to the point of just simmering.
- Carefully turn the yams occassionaly to coat all sides.
- Do not overcook or they will start to fall apart.
- Place on serving dish and enjoy.
