Candied Sweet Potatoes

  1. Cut the yams into quarters.
  2. Place margarine, brown sugar and syrup in skillet and melt, stirring to combine ingredients and dissolve brown sugar.
  3. Place yams in mixture and turn temperature of skillet to the point of just simmering.
  4. Carefully turn the yams occassionaly to coat all sides.
  5. Do not overcook or they will start to fall apart.
  6. Place on serving dish and enjoy.
