Healthy Walnut Bread

  1. Mix 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, walnuts, wheat germ, sugar, salt and yeast.
  2. Heat water, yogurt and butter until hot to touch (125u0b0 to 130u0b0).
  3. Stir into dry mixture.
  4. Mix only enough remaining flour to make stiff dough.
  5. On lightly floured surface, knead until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes. Cover and let rest 10 minutes.
  6. Divide dough in half.
  7. Roll each half to 12 x 18-inch rectangle.
  8. Roll up short end and pinch seam and ends.
  9. Place in 2 greased 8 3/4 x 4 1/4 x 2 3/4-inch loaf pans. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
