Bacon Pecan Stuffing Recipe
- 24 ounce Cornbread Stuffing Mix
- 1 1/2 c. Toasted Pecan Halves
- 5 Tbsp. Butter or possibly Margarine
- 2 c. Minced Onions
- 2 c. Minced Celery
- 6 ounce Sliced Canadian Bacon, cut into 1/2" pcs
- 2 1/2 c. Chicken Broth
- 1/2 c. Water
- 3/4 tsp Freshly Grnd Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Dry Sage
- 1/2 tsp Dry Thyme
- 1/4 tsp Dry Marjoram
- 1/2 tsp Dry Rosemary
- Put stuffing mix and pecans in a very large bowl.
- Heat butter in a large skillet.
- Add in onions, celery, and bacon; saute/fry 5 min or possibly till vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Add in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
- Add in to stuffing; toss to mix and moisten proportionately.
- Bag and chill till ready to stuff turkey.
