Peachy Barbecue Chicken Recipe
- 3 lbs. frying chicken
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 (16 ounce.) can peach halves
- 1 c. barbecue sauce
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 (8 ounce.) can sm. onions
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. white sugar
- Rub chicken with salt and brush with butter.
- Place in shallow pan.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30 min.
- Drain peaches, reserving 1/2 c. syrup.
- Combine syrup, barbecue sauce, lemon juice, and brown and white sugar.
- Pour over chicken and bake for 30 more min.
- Arrange peaches and onions around chicken.
- Baste with sauce and bake 30 min more or possibly till chicken is tender.
