Italian Vegetable Crouton Bake
- 2 c. sliced yellow squash
- 1/2 tsp. Watkins garlic salt
- 2 c. chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp. Watkins Italian Blend
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. Watkins Italian pepper
- 2 c. croutons
- 2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 c. margarine, melted
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In each of three small mixing bowls, toss sliced squash with garlic salt; stir Italian Blend into tomatoes and toss onion with Italian pepper.
- Set these bowls aside.
- Spray 3 or 4-quart casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Layer 1 cup croutons, 1 cup squash mixture, 1 cup tomato mixture, 1/2 cup onion mixture and 1 cup Cheddar cheese.
- Repeat this process.
- Pour melted margarine evenly over top.
- Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove cover and bake an additional 10 minutes.
- Makes 12 servings.
