Hamburger Stew

  1. After ground beef has been browned & drained, place back on stove over medium high heat.
  2. To this pan, add the mixed vegetables, beef broth, and dry soup mix.
  3. Let this mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, then add the slurry of cornstarch and water, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Bring to a light boil again for just a minute or two to thicken.
  5. Serve over the mashed potatoes or hot cooked noodles.
