Roasted Garlic & Brie Twists
- 1/2 heads Roasted Garlic (1/2 A Head Should Be Roughly 4-5 Cloves) (*see Note Below For Roasting Instructions)
- 1 package Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough (8 Ounce Size Or Enough For 6 Rolls)
- 3 ounces, weight Brie Or More (rind Optional)
- Preheat oven to the temperature recommended on the dough package.
- Open the can of dough.
- Press two triangles of crescent roll dough together on a work surface.
- Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut the rectangle of roll dough into two long rectangles.
- Drop pieces of brie and garlic down the center of the dough rectangle.
- Fold the sides of the dough up to form a log.
- Place the log on a baking sheet.
- Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.
- Lift one end of each log and twist one full turn.
- Lift the other end and twist one full turn.
- Bake according to crescent roll package directions.
- My package said to bake at 375 F for about 15 minutes.
- *Note: To roast the garlic, use a sharp knife to cut the top off of a head of garlic.
- Wrap it in foil, drizzling with olive oil if desired.
- Place foil wrapped garlic in the oven, and bake at 400 F for 30-40 minutes.
- Garlic should be brown in color.
- Once it has cooled, squeeze garlic head to remove individual cloves.
