Chicken En Croute Recipe
- 6 skinless boneless chicken breasts
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- 6 slices thin ham
- 1 pkg. (17 1/4 ounce.) puff pastry sheets
- Chicken broth for poaching
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Poach chicken breasts for 8 min in broth.
- Drain.
- Wrap chicken in cheese and ham.
- Cut 1 sheet of pastry into quarters.
- Wrap around chicken, cheese and ham.
- Bake seam side up on tin foil covered cookie sheet for 20 min.
- Do not bake on lowest rack of oven bottoms might burn.
