Tofu with Shimeji Mushroom and Shiso Sauce
- 1 block Grilled tofu
- 1/2 bag Shimeji mushrooms
- 8 leaves Shiso leaves
- 200 ml Water
- 1 tsp Dashi stock granules
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Mirin
- 1 Salt
- 1 Katakuriko slurry
- Chop the shimeji mushrooms and shiso leaves roughly.
- Mix the sauce ingredients marked and heat to make dashi stock.
- Thicken with the katakuriko slurry.
- Add shimeji mushrooms and shiso leaves and warm through.
- Cut up the tofu and add to the pan.
- Cook for several minutes to let the tofu absorb the flavors.
- Serve.
