Mexican Style Chili With Venison Recipe
- 1/2 pound grnd pork sausage
- 2 pound venison, cubed
- 2 med. onions, minced
- 1 med. bell pepper, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 3 tbsp. chili pwdr or possibly to desired taste
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 2 (15 ounce.) cans kidney beans
- 1 quart. water
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper, if you like
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Brown pork sausage and venison in large saucepan on simmer.
- Remove sausage and venison from saucepan.
- Saute/fry onions and bell pepper.
- Add in sausage and venison; then add in remaining ingredients and sufficient water to cover.
- Simmer for 3-4 hrs, stirring occasionally.
- Add in remaining water as needed.
