Chocolate Chip Holiday Cake Recipe
- 1/2# butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 Large eggs
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 pt. lowfat sour cream
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- Grease and flour 10 inch tube pan.
- Cream together butter and sugar; add in Large eggs, lowfat sour cream and vanilla.
- Add in flour and dry ingredients.
- Add in nuts reserving some for top.
- After mixing cake, add in chocolate chips by hand and mix.
- Pour into pan and sprinkle remaining nuts on top and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
- When done, turn oven off, open door, leave in oven additional 15 min.
