Brunswick Stew #2
- 2 to 3 lb. fryers
- 1 medium onion
- 4 c. chopped onions
- 3 lb. ground beef, browned, washed with hot water and drained
- 3 (15 oz.) cans chopped tomatoes
- 1 bottle barbecue sauce (I prefer smoke-flavored)
- 1 c. hot chili sauce
- 4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Tabasco sauce (I like more)
- 1/2 c. flour, mixed with 1 c. water (for thickening)
- 2 (15 oz.) cans creamed corn
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 stalks celery
- chicken broth
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1 c. catsup
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- Add cayenne pepper if you like a little bite to this recipe and lima beans, if you like them.
