Gingerbread House
- 1 1/2 sticks of butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Dash of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups cornstarch
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup ground hazelnuts
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons rum
- 1 tablespoon of ginger
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix the ingredients, one by one, in an electric mixer or food processor.
- Grease the gingerbread mold and pour the dough into it, pressing it against the sides to prevent large gaps.
- Bake for about one hour.
