Tropical Orange Coconut Drops

• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup butter softened
• 3 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon orange extract
• 3 1/2 cups flour, all-purpose
• 1/2 cup coconut flaked

1. Heat oven to 350F (180C).
2. In large mixer bowl, combine sugar, butter, eggs, baking powder, salt, vanilla and orange extract.
3. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed, 1 to 2 minutes.
4. Stir in flour and coconut until well mixed, 2 to 3 minutes.
5. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets.
6. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned.
7. Remove immediately.
