Strawberry-Pecan Jumbles

  1. Mix flour, cereal, sugar, pecans and baking powder in large bowl.
  2. Add margarine, egg and vanilla; mix until crumbly.
  3. Reserve 1/2 cup of the crumb mixture; set aside.
  4. Press remaining crumb mixture firmly onto bottom of greased 9-inch square baking pan.
  5. Spread strawberry preserves evenly over crust; sprinkle with reserved 1/2 cup crumb mixture.
  6. Bake at 375F for 20 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
  8. Cut into 18 bars.
