Basic Stir-Fry

  1. In a glass bowl, combine chicken, soy sauce and garlic powder. Stir well and set aside.
  2. Heat 2 teaspoons oil in large skillet or wok.
  3. Stir in all vegetables and stir-fry 3 to 5 minutes until onions are translucent.
  4. Remove vegetables and set aside.
  5. Heat remaining 2 teaspoons oil; add chicken.
  6. Stir-fry until chicken is cooked, about 5 minutes.
  7. Return vegetables to skillet with chicken.
  8. Stir in cornstarch mixture and cook until sauce thickens.
  9. Serve with rice or noodles.
