Birria Recipe

  1. Cook the meat with the garlic and onion in sufficient water to immerse them.
  2. Toast, hollow out and soak the chilis (approximately 5 min).
  3. Liquify them in the water they soaked in.
  4. Strain the sauce from the chili into the pot in that the meat is cooking.
  5. Add in 3 small laurel leaves, cumin, salt and pepper.
  6. Wait till the meat is well cooked.
