Fudge Brownie Pie
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- 3 sq. Baker's unsweetened chocolate
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- dash of salt
- 3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Prick pie shell thoroughly with fork.
- Bake at 425u0b0 for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Remove from oven.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350u0b0.
- Melt chocolate with butter in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
- Cool slightly.
- Beat eggs well.
- Add sugar, salt, corn syrup, milk and vanilla.
- Beat in chocolate, then pour into partially baked pie shell.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until top puffs and begins to crack.
- Cool.
- Center of pie will fall slightly.
- Just before serving, fill center with sweetened whipped cream.
