Grandma Jackie'S Cheese Rolls

  1. Cut rolls in half lengthwise and remove most of the soft center bread from both top and bottom halves.
  2. (Dry these crumbs and use in other cooking.)
  3. Mix all other ingredients in a large bowl.
  4. Fill centers of rolls with cheese mixture, replacing tops on bottoms.
  5. Place roll in a wax paper sandwich bag and twist top of bag closed or wrap roll in waxed paper, twisting ends tightly to seal.
  6. Do not use plastic bags or wrap.
  7. Place as many as desired in a brown paper bag and heat in a 350u0b0 oven for about 20 minutes.
  8. Store unused rolls in refrigerator or freezer.
  9. When wanted, just place in a brown bag for oven.
  10. No defrosting required.
  11. Do not heat in microwave; it makes them soft instead of crunchy.
