Potato Burgers With Gravy Recipe

  1. Thoroughly mix meat, potato, onion, egg, parsley, salt, pepper and sage.
  2. Shape into 6 patties 1/2 inch thick; brown in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Reduce heat; add in bouillon.
  4. Cover and simmer about 35 min, depending on the thickness of patties.
  5. Remove patties from skillet and keep hot while preparing the following gravy.
  6. GRAVY: Scrape meat drippings from bottom of skillet.
  7. If you like, remove excess fat.
  8. Stir in flour and cook 3 min.
  9. Add in lowfat milk and bring to boil; taste for additional salt and pepper.
  10. Serve with patties.
  11. Garnish with a sprinkling of fresh parsley.
  12. Serves 6.
