Marinated Beef With Tomato Sauce

  1. Combine soup, onion, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, thyme and garlic powder in shallow non-metallic bowl.
  2. Pound steak on both sides with a meat mallet to tenderize.
  3. Marinate in soup mixture, covered and refrigerated for 4 hours.
  4. Broil steak on broiler pan for 5-8 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
  5. Boil remaining marinade in small saucepan, simmer over low heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. To serve, slice steak across the grain and top with sauce.
