Tacoritos
- 6 (10-inch) flour tortillas
- 1/2 lb. ground turkey
- 1 small can refried beans
- 1 pkg. dry taco mix
- 1 c. chopped tomatoes
- 1 small can sliced black olives
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. shredded lettuce
- 2 medium avocados
- 1/4 c. pico taco sauce
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- Deep fry the flour tortillas and form in the shape of a rectangle taco shell.
- (Fry both sides of tortilla and fold in half.)
- Brown turkey meat in frying pan; when browned, add in beans and dry taco mix.
- This mixture will be used for the filling of the tacorito.
- Chop the tomatoes; shred the cheese and shred the lettuce.
- Put these in separate bowls for garnishing the tacorito.
- Also, put the olives in a separate bowl.
- The tacorito can be topped with the ingredients, with guacamole and sour cream on the top.
