Venison Chili

  1. Simmer tomatoes 5 minutes in their own juices.
  2. Add onions, green peppers and cook until tender, stirring often.
  3. Add garlic and parsley.
  4. Melt butter in a large skillet and saute meat for 15 minutes.
  5. Add meat to tomato mixture; stir in chili powder and cook 10 minutes.
  6. Add beans and spices and water, if needed. Simmer covered 1 hour.
  7. Cook uncovered for 30 minutes.
  8. Serves 8 to 10.
