Chicken Shrimp Supreme
- 1/4 c. Heritage butter
- 1/2 tsp. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. green onions
- 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 c. sherry (optional)
- 1/2 c. Heritage half and half
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. cut up cooked chicken
- 2 c. cooked shrimp
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- hot buttered rice
- In saucepan, melt butter; add mushrooms and onion, saute for 5 minutes.
- Add soup; gradually stir in sherry and half and half. Add cheese and heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted.
- Add chicken and shrimp; do not boil.
- Stir in parsley and serve over rice.
- This may be served in a chafing dish.
- May be prepared, covered and refrigerated and reheated just before serving.
- Makes 8 servings.
