Sonyas Favorite Spaghetti Sauce
- 1/2 pounds Lean Ground Beef
- 1/2 pounds Lean Ground Pork
- 1/2 pounds Ground Veal
- 1 cup Grated Carrots
- 1 cup Chopped Celery
- 1 cup Choped Onions
- 1 cup Diced Leeks
- 1 cup Diced Green Peppers
- 1 bottle Heinz Chili Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Hot Pepper Sauce
- 5 drops Tabasco Sauce
- 1 leaf Bay
- 2 cloves Garlic, Chopped
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- 3 whole Small Hot Peppers Crushed
- 2 cans Condensed Tomato Soup
- 28 ounces, weight Canned Tomatoes
- 2 cans Tomato Paste
- Sweat the vegetables in a little bit of olive oil (or any vegetable oil you prefer).
- Use a BIG Dutch oven or casserole pan for this.
- In another pan, cook the ground meat mixture until done.
- Add the browned meat to the vegetables, as well as the rest of the vegetable/seasoning mixture.
- Mix well and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add the sauce mixture and mix well.
- Cook on VERY LOW HEAT for 3 hours.
