Bourbon Street Chicken Recipe
- 4 x chicken breasts
- 1 tsp grnd ginger
- 4 ounce soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. dry onion flakes
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 3/8 c. bourbon whiskey
- 1/2 tsp garlic pwdr
- DIRECTIONS:Place chicken breasts in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl combine the ginger, soy sauce, onion flakes, sugar, bourbon and garlic pwdr.
- Mix together and pour mix over chicken.
- Cover dish and place in refrigerator.
- Marinate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Remove dish from refrigerator and remove cover.
- Bake in the preheated oven, basting frequently, for 1 1/2 hrs or possibly till chicken is well browned and juices run clear.
- Yield: 4 Servings
