Strawberry Sauce

  1. Mash strawberries with a fork.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine water and cornstarch and cook over medium heat until dissolved.
  3. Add mashed strawberries with juice,cook over, medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
  4. Cook 2 minutes longer and then cool.
