Chicken Tenders and Cucumber with Mayonnaise

  1. Making the sake-steamed chicken cutlets in the microwave: Sprinkle 4 chicken cutlets all over with 1 tablespoon sake, place into a microwave safe container, and lightly cover with plastic wrap.
  2. Microwave at 500W for 3 minutes, let sit for 3 minutes with the wrap still on, and they are ready.
  3. You can easily tear the chicken up by hand once it has cooled.
  4. If you do so, remove the hard bits of sinew.
  5. Now for the chicken cutlet and cucumber with mayonnaise recipe.
  6. We will be using two of the sake-steamed chicken cutlets.
  7. Finely break up 2 of the chicken cutlets, and let cool.
  8. Cut the cucumber diagonally into 5 mm thick slices, then finely chop.
  9. Combine with the well-mixed "A" ingredients, and it is done.
  10. This is also tasty with a 1/2 teaspoon of grainy mustard mixed in.
