Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in water.
  3. In a large saucepan, mix together the potatoes, milk, molasses, stock, and peanut butter.
  4. Heat, stirring frequently until boiling.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
  6. Add yeast mixture.
  7. Gradually blend in the egg, wheat, rye, and rice flours.
  8. Add enough white flour to form a stiff dough.
  9. Transfer to a floured surface and knead until smooth, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  10. Shape the dough into a ball and roll to 1/2-inch thick.
  11. Using cookie cutters, cut out biscuits.
  12. Place on ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 1/4-inch apart.
  13. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
  14. Makes several dozen bones depending on the size/shape of the cookie cutter.
