Low Country Shrimp Boil

  2. Boil about a gallon of water in a large kettle on the stove or outdoor cooker.

  4. Season water with salt, garlic and Zatarains along with the juice of lemons.

  6. Add potatoes and cook for 10 minutes.

  8. Add sausage and corn.
  9. Bring back to a boil.

  11. When potatoes are almost tender, add the crab.
  12. 6.
  13. Bring to a boil, then add shrimp.
  14. 7.
  15. Cook only for a few minutes until shrimp are just done.
  16. They will be pink in color.
  17. 8.
  18. Drain and pour into a basket or onto platters.
  19. 9.
  20. Have cocktail sauce and Dijon mustard at hand.
