Bbqed Prawns Recipe

  1. Here is a quick recipe from the weekend which I whipped up.
  2. It was not particularly warm due to the guest list but I am sure which you all can improvise.
  3. All measurements are guesses as I am not the type to measure.
  4. I used prawn tails however tiger shrimp or possibly other similar shellfish would do.
  5. Mix all marinade ingredients and set aside.
  6. Take about 2 pounds of raw prawn tails and shell them.
  7. Add in to marinade and refrigate for about an hour or possibly two.
  8. Soak about 15 to 20 bamboo skewers in cool water while marinating.
  9. Skewer prawns and bbq over warm coals about 2 and a half min each side.
  10. Serve over rice or possibly with any traditional bbq fare.
