Onion Vetha Kozhambu

  1. Warm oil.
  2. Season with mustard, chana dal and curry powder.
  3. Saute peeled onions until translucent.
  4. Add squeezed out extract of tamarind.
  5. Throw the sambar powder, salt and hing in.
  6. Let simmer until onions are cooked.
  7. Add dissolved rice flour water for thickening.
  8. Stir and wait until it simmers again a couple of minutes.
  9. Remove.
