Chocolate-Peanut Butter Cookies
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/3 c. creamy peanut butter
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. crispy rice cereal, crushed to 1 c.
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease baking sheet. Cream the butter and peanut butter with sugars. Add egg and vanilla.
- Mix until thoroughly blended.
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture.
- Mix well. Stir in crispy rice cereal and chocolate pieces.
- Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned.
- Let stand 1 minute on baking sheet before removing.
- Makes about 4 dozen.
