Baked Fudge Pie
- CRUST:
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
- 1 1/3 cups Oreo Baking Crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- FILLING:
- 1 cup Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- vanilla ice cream
- Crust: MELT butter.
- (microwave in 9 inch pie plate on HIGH power 40 to 60 seconds.)
- Stir in crumbs and sugar.
- Press into bottom and sides of 9 inch pie plate.
- Bake at 375F for 8 minutes (OR microwave on HIGH power 2 to 3 minutes, rotating dish once.)
- Cool before filling.
- Filling: MELT chocolate and butter over hot water.
- Remove from heat and whisk in eggs, one at a time.
- Stir in corn syrup, vanilla and salt.
- Pour into crust.
- Bake at 325F for 30 to 35 minutes or until set.
- SERVE warm or cooled to room temperature, topped with ice cream.
