Baked Fudge Pie

  1. Crust: MELT butter.
  2. (microwave in 9 inch pie plate on HIGH power 40 to 60 seconds.)
  3. Stir in crumbs and sugar.
  4. Press into bottom and sides of 9 inch pie plate.
  5. Bake at 375F for 8 minutes (OR microwave on HIGH power 2 to 3 minutes, rotating dish once.)
  6. Cool before filling.
  7. Filling: MELT chocolate and butter over hot water.
  8. Remove from heat and whisk in eggs, one at a time.
  9. Stir in corn syrup, vanilla and salt.
  10. Pour into crust.
  11. Bake at 325F for 30 to 35 minutes or until set.
  12. SERVE warm or cooled to room temperature, topped with ice cream.
